Duo Demand Delivery Man Hand Over Pizza, Flee on Foot with Pies in Newbury Park
Unknown assailants robbed a pizza delivery man of $85 in food on Sunday afternoon in Newbury Park.
The robbery took place around 1:30 p.m. when two men approached a man from Ameci Pizza delivering food to an apartment complex on West Hillcrest Drive, one robber brandishing a knife and the other a handgun. The duo demanded the delivery man hand over the pizza, then took the food and fled on foot. Sheriff’s officials could not find the suspects despite employing a police dog and helicopter as part of their search.
