Oxnard Toddler Killed in Car Accident
A three-year-old Oxnard boy died after a 19-year-old woman accidentally struck and killed him and another child this weekend.
Estella Cruz Lopez pulled a van onto the lawn of a residence on South F Street to wash it when she accidentally ran over Luis Miguel Martinez and an 11-year-old boy. The older boy suffered a broken arm, but Martinez was later pronounced dead at St. John’s Regional Medical Center. Lopez was not a licensed driver.
